Cat put down after being shot three times

KENT Police are appealing for information after a cat was shot and fatally injured by air gun pellets.

The incidernt happened in the Woodlands Park area of Tenterden Road, Biddenden, near Ashford.

Police say that sometime between June 8-14 the cat was shot three times in the eye, larynx and back. It was so badly injured that it had to be put down.

Officers have made a number of enquiries in the area, and are now keen to speak to anyone who may have information to contact South Kent Police on 01303 289180.
