Police appeal as homes in Biddenden targeted as window smashed in Cheeselands and garden shed set alight in Sandeman Way

The hunt for two thugs suspected of setting a garden shed alight and smashing house windows has been launched by police.

Two linked offences are said to have happened in Biddenden, near Ashford, on Monday, February 6 at around 6.30pm.

Unknown offenders are reported to have used a hammer to cause damage to the front room window of a property in Cheeselands and at around the same time, a garden shed was allegedly set alight in the nearby Sandeman Way.

Two men wearing dark clothing were seen running away from the area where the incidents were reported.

Officers are now asking anyone with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward.
