The hunt is on for thieves who stole 16,000 boxed novelty toothbrush holders.

The distinctive holders were stolen following a burglary, which took place at premises in Foster Road, Sevington between May 1 and 8.

Thieves caused £100 worth of damage during a break-in before escaping with the huge haul of toothbrush holders, which retail at £5.99 each.

The toothbrush holder is unique and very new to the market, and are manufactured in plastic in the shape of animals.

They are individually boxed with flipper.co.uk on the outer large boxes and the inside branding is 'my flipper.com’.

PC Mick Sedden said: “These products are only supplied to a small number of outlets, and I would like to speak to anyone who has been offered them individually or as a consignment.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact South Kent Police on 01303 289180, or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
