This is the face of the suspect wanted in connection with a robbery at Greatstone post office.

As reported last week, police are hunting for the man who threatened the post mistress with what is thought to have been a knife as he demanded packets of ciagrettes, following the incident at The Parade on January 12 between 12.15pm to 12.32pm.

Accoprding to police, the suspect went off in the direction of Dunes Road and the post master gave chase.

As the offender reached the fish and chip shop he was almost in collision with a blue Ford Focus, before continuing down Dunes Road and out of sight.

The offender is described as white, aged 20, 6ft and wearing all black clothing, a distinctive three quarter length toggle jacket, a black scarf that was pulled over his mouth and nose and a hoodie.

He is said to have a very pale complexion, narrow face and possibly blue eyes.
