Police hunt driver with pink fluffy steering wheel

A 17-year old youth was punched in the face after he intervened in a disturbance in the street involving a young woman and a group of young men.

Police say moments after the victim had separated those involved in the disturbance, a car pulled up. The driver got out and punched the victim, causing a split lip.

The car is believed to be a yellow Citroen Saxo, complete with a pink fluffy steering wheel.

Police are seeking witnesses to the assault that took place outside the Munchies takeaway in High Street, Canterbury, at around 2.30am on Thursday, December 1.

The offender, described as a white man in his early 20s, returned to his car and drove off towards Westgate Towers.
