A Sainsbury's supermarket was forced to close this afternoon due to flooding.
Shoppers were ushered out of the store at Kingsmead in Canterbury and customers were blocked from entering.
Having cleared the water, the site was then reopened this evening.
A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: “We temporarily closed our Canterbury superstore this afternoon due to flooding.
"The store has now reopened and is trading as normal. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
Earlier in the week, Cineworld in Ashford closed due to flooding in the foyer - before reopening four hours later.
