Youth crime prevention scheme piloted

YOUNG troublemakers could be taken back to their parents by police during an initiative being piloted in Canterbury.

Officers say much of the vandalism in the district results from groups of children roaming around looking for mischief.

Mitchell Fox, acting chief inspector, has instructed patrol teams to use the approach to try and intervene before youngsters commit any crimes...
