AN ELDERLY woman has died in hospital after being involved in a collision with a vehicle in a supermarket car park in Dartford.

The victim, who has not been named, was taken to Darent Valley Hospital shortly after 4pm yesterday after the incident outside Sainsbury’s in Instone Road. A 10-year-old girl also suffered a fractured leg.

A 78-year-old man from Dartford was arrested at the scene in connection with the incident and released pending further enquiries.
