Man found unconscious after street attack

DETECTIVES are appealing for information after a 27-year old man was found unconscious in the street following a serious assault.

The incident happened in Lowfield Street, Dartford, on November 5 at about 2am.

The victim was found by his friends as they came out of DA 1 nightclub. Staff at the nightclub called the police and administered first aid.

The victim was taken to Dartford's Darent Valley Hospital where he was treated for a wound to the back of his head and bruising to his face.

Det Con Chris Mason, the officer investigating the incident said: “This was a nasty assault that meant the victim remaining in hospital overnight. I would urge anyone who saw an incident involving a man in his 20s to contact the police.”
