Teenager in court after serious assault

A 19-year-old has appeared in court after a serious assault in Dartford.

Lewis Turner is charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon following an incident on Monday, at Hillhouse Road, Stone, at 7.40pm.

Turner of Kirby Road, Dartford, will appear at Medway Magistrates Court today via the virtual court link, which connects the court, via a video link, with an interview room at North Kent Police Station.

Magistrates remanded him in custody to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, May 23.
