Dartford turn their attention back to the league on Saturday with a trip to bottom side Lewes in Blue Square Bet South.

The Darts have yet to win from home this season and will come up against a Lewes side who will be managed by new boss Tim O’Shea for the first time.

"We have to go there and put in a performance," said Burman (pictured).

"The league is not easy and I hope the people travelling down there remember that Lewes drew with the team in third position (Bromley) on Tuesday night.

"They’ve got a new manager and I’m sure he’ll have new players in for Saturday.

"We just have to do our things and if we work hard and do our best then that will be fine by me."

Dartford are fifth from bottom and Burman is demanding improvements.

He recently released defender Adam Gross and has warned that more may follow if their league form does not improve.

"The players have had a chance and things have to turn around," said Burman.

"We have to do these things unfortunately and it was a difficult thing to do as Adam helped us such a lot last season."
