It is not too early to buy your 2009 calendar and help a good cause at the same time.

Photographer Nigel May has put together images of Deal, Walmer and Kingsdown to raise money for Demelza Hospice Care for Children.

With the support of Ropers in Deal High Street, Mr May has used some of his work and other photographers to produce four different sized calendars.

Mr May previously supported Demelza House by staging an exhibition of his work and decided to do something different this year.

“It is such a worthwhile cause and I wanted to continue to help, “ he said.

“Ropers have paid for the printing of the calendars and agreed to sell them in the shop. Some of the profits will go to Demelza House.”

The calenders are £5.99 and £6.99, available from Ropers.
