Face of attempted street robber

POLICE have released this image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the attempted robbery of a young woman in a Kent town.

The 25-year-old victim was walking in Church Path, Deal and listening to music when the incident took place.

She felt someone touch her shoulder, before she fell to the ground and a man tried to grab her bag. He fled when she screamed.

The offender is described as white, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, 5ft 3in tall, of thin build and with short or shaven dark-brown hair.

He was wearing a short-sleeved, white shirt with a rip to the front of the left shoulder and dark-coloured denim jeans.
