Dover takes Trust on board

THE new board of Dover Athletic has confirmed that Dover Athletic Supporters' Trust will continue its role as supporters' representative within the new club organisation.

The Trust will have a non-executive seat at the board, ensuring that its members continue to have their views heard.

Supporters' Trust chairman Simon Harris said: "Although the non-executive position means no actual vote at board meetings, the Trust representative will contribute and participate fully.

"I am very pleased that the new board have, from the outset, stressed the importance of working with the Trust."

Club director Roger Knight said: "The Supporters' Trust must be congratulated for the contribution they have made over the past three years.

"Without their hard work and loyal support, Dover Athletic could now be confined to history."
