Sammy Moore completed his move to Dover Athletic when he signed a two-year contract at Crabble on Thursday evening.

The 20-year-old midfielder from Deal, who was released by Championship side Ipswich Town in January, reacquainted himself with Crabble, where he watched his brother Jason play for Athletic during the club's time in the Conference.

Whites' chairman Jim Parmenter and assistant manager Darren Hare were there to see Sammy put to paper, and Hare said: "I've known Sammy since he was a kid. I coached the lad and he was quality then.

" I'm chuffed to bits he's come to Dover Athletic and Andy Hessenthaler and I are really looking forward to making him an even better player."
