Dover Athletic v Eastleigh

DOVER Athletic face Eastleigh at the Hoverspeed Stadium in their final Ryman League game of the season on Saturday.

The Hampshire side clinched a play-off spot with Saturday’s 1-0 win over Heybridge and will want to finish as high up the table as they can.

Dover meanwhile can claim the minor consolation of leapfrogging Tonbridge if they win and the Angels fail to beat Hampton & Richmond at home.

For the final two games of the season Whites welcome back Dean Readings from his ban, and there are no fresh injury or suspension worries for manager Clive Walker.

Walker was pleased with Whites’ battling 1-0 win away to Wealdstone on Saturday, saying: "Other than a couple of five minute spells, we weren’t in much trouble. We took our chance and they didn’t take theirs."

Goalkeeper Paul Hyde, who is about to enter contract talks, added: "It was the worst pitch I have played on in many a year. We cashed in on a penalty and I was quite busy in the second half. There’s life in the old dog yet."
