The search for the driver of a van who left an injured motorcyclist after a crash is continuing.
The incident happened on the coastbound carriageway, close to the junction with Gravesend West, at around 4.15pm on Friday, August 30.
A trailer came off the back of a black Mercedes Sprinter which then failed to stop after the rider of a silver Honda motorbike, a man in his 50s, was injured.
Inquiries to locate the driver are ongoing.
Police Constable Nick Bottle, Kent Police’s investigating officer, said: "While we have a good understanding on what happened, and have spoken with several witnesses, we know there was a large amount of traffic in the area due to congestion.
"It is therefore possible there are witnesses to the incident who are yet to contact us and I would encourage them to do so at their earliest convenience.
"We are particularly keen to obtain dash cam footage that captures the incident, or either of the vehicles travelling in the moments leading up to it."
