Extra worries for Fleet chief

DAISH: says Burton are a quality side
DAISH: says Burton are a quality side

Gravesend & N v Burton Albion

GRAVESEND & Northfleet could be without four regulars because of injury and suspension for Saturday's Nationwide Conference match against Burton Albion at Stonebridge Road.

Captain Paul McCarthy (suspended) is definitely out and could be joined by Peter Hawkins (ankle), Mark DeBolla (hamstring) and Charlie MacDonald (sickness).

Fleet suffered a 3-1 defeat at Stafford Rangers on Tuesday night and slipped to eighth in the league table.

Manager Liam Daish said: "Burton have got quality and in Daryl Clare they have a proven goalscorer. I have still got players that I think will be all right but it may be a case that I look to bring a couple in on loan if the right ones become available."

"We are now looking at players that can improve us and get is in the play-offs. Sometimes the ones that are available, I look and I think they're not really going to improve me so why get them in?"
