Loan star Alex Osborn is determined to have a promotion with Ebbsfleet on his CV by the time he returns to his parent club Dagenham & Redbridge.

The 20-year-old joined the Fleet on a three-month youth loan in August and extended that for another three months last week.

Osborn has become an increasingly influential member of manager Steve Brown’s squad since making the move from east London to north Kent.

He said: "It’s a great club. I definitely think we’ll finish in the play-offs, if not push for automatic promotion.

"Everyone’s buzzing at Ebbsfleet at the moment. We’ve beaten all the top teams and feel like no-one can beat us. We feel like we’re going to win every week.

"My recent loans have been at struggling teams but now I’m at a good team and it’s great to be on the winning side.

"If we could get promoted, that would be great to have on my CV."
