Sun reach semi-finals of county competition

North Kent Sunday League side Sun reached the semi-finals of the Kent Sunday Premier Cup with a 3-2 extra-time win over Quested.

Ryan Robinson and Dan Jeffrey gave Sun the lead, and although they were pegged back by the Medway side, substitute Sam Prett scored the winner in extra-time.

The Senior Division club now host London Sunday Challenge Cup finalists Baldon Sports.

Old Prince of Orange Athletic crashed out of the Kent Sunday Junior Trophy, losing 9-2 to Hatcham.

New Ash Green missed the chance to close the gap at the top of the Senior Division following their double header against Gravesend United. Green won 3-1 but then lost the second game 1-0.

Hollisters picked up three points, defeating Swanscombe Tigers 3-2.

Real Gima, with goals from Rob Jeffrey (2), Paul Dalton and Martin Kehily, dented Old Comrades’ title hopes with a 4-0 win, while A&Z Sports defeated Rose & Crown 5-3.
