Hythe beach incident: Kent Police, fire engines and ambulance near BP garage

Emergency services have descended on a beach following concern for a woman. Police have now confirmed a woman has been found dead.

Witnesses say eight police cars, a fire engine and and ambulance attended the s BP garage on Princess Parade in Seabrook, Hythe, at about 7.30am this morning.

The also saw a large blue tarpaulin had been put up.

Pictures show emergency services still at the scene at 9am, with police watching over the shore from the promenade.

A police spokesperson said: "Kent Police was called following concern for a woman near Princes Parade, Hythe at 7.20am on Wednesday, November 2.

"Officers remain at the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service."
