Dancers to show businesses they can-can

A TROUPE of can-can dancers will lighten the mood at a conference and exhibition of international networking organised by Thanet and East Kent Chamber at Margate Winter Gardens next month.

The six dancers will perform amid an otherwise full programme of speakers representing business on both sides of the Channel.

The event on May 26 has been six months in the planning stage and will appeal to businesses of all shapes and sizes ranging from manufacturing to tourism.

Lorna Wells, manager of TEKC said: 'We have received a superb response and expect a good turnout on the day with business people coming from as far afield as St Omer, Boulogne and Calais.

“A total of 9,000 invitations are on their way to key business sectors and we will be on hand to facilitate introductions that will ultimately help businesses increase sales, source competitively priced components and improve their network of contacts.

“France is an enormous market that is economical to serve and easy to reach, resulting in a conference that will be of interest to anyone who is looking to increase sales or simply improve their cost base."

The event has the support of organisations such as Business Link Kent, SeaFrance, Girlings, Sharp Printers, and Thanet Leisureforce.
