A leading independent gas bottling company is on the hunt for Class 2 drivers to help with its ever-expanding delivery service.

NovaGas, which is based in Upper Ruckinge, near Ashford, was formed in 1988 and supplies customers with LPG for a wide variety of uses.

This can range from cylinders to rural homes and businesses to bulk supplies where it can also deliver and install storage tanks. In addition, it provides industrial gases for pubs, clubs and restaurants across Kent and East Sussex. It also supplies caravan parks.

Now it is looking to add to its line-up of drivers.

Explains a spokesman for the firm: "The ideal candidate should reside within easy travelling distance of our Ashford depot and have an in-depth knowledge of Kent and East Sussex.

"Ideally, we require you to hold a valid ADR licence which must include gases but we may be willing to assist with this for the right candidate.

"Please state this in your application.

"You must however hold a valid driver’s CPC licence."

Those successful will get a basic salary of £27,000 for 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Some overtime will be available and there are also bonuses to be had.

NovaGas is also a registered dealer in controlled oils (RDCO) and licensed to fill red diesel and tractor/generator diesel for those eligible to receive it.
