The winning design for a new £2 million work of art for Kent is being announced later today.

The final three designs for the Ebbsfleet Landmark Project include a giant white horse, a steel nest structure and a tower of stacked cubes.

The artwork will dominate the north Kent landscape standing as high as Nelson's Column, at around 50 metres.

Today's announcement is due to take place at Swan Valley Community School in Swanscombe.
