A motorcyclist has died after striking a parked car on a Kent road.

The 50-year-old from Gillingham was riding a red Yamaha motorcycle when he collided with a parked black Jaguar in Meirscourt Road, Rainham, at 9.25am yesterday morning.

He was taken to hospital but died on arrival.

Police from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now asking for witnesses to come forward with any information about the incident.
