Armed robber grabs bakery cash

A man armed with a kitchen knife escaped with cash from the till of a Kent bakery.

The raid happened at around 2.30pm Thursday in College Road, Swanley.

A female member of staff was told to open the till and he shouted at her when she screamed after seeing the knife.

The man then pushed the till to the floor and grabbed some cash from it before leaving the shop. The staff member was not hurt.

The robber was white, aged between 30 and 40, and wearing a black beanie style hat, khaki coat, dark blue jeans, dirty white trainers and black gloves.
