Bargain Hunt goes live from county

BBC1's Bargain Hunt programme is to be broadcast live from venues across Kent.

Presenter David Dickinson will be putting people's antique knowledge to the test from auction rooms in Folkestone, Sandwich and Tunbridge Wells from next Monday to Friday.

The programmes will see two teams being given £200 each to buy bargains at antique fairs, in the hope that they will make a profit at auction.

Bargain Hunt will be at Hogben Auctioneers in Folkestone on Monday and Tuesday.

Camera crews will then be at the Halifax Fine Art and Country Auctioneers at Sandwich on Wednesday and Bracketts Fine Art Auctioneers in Tunbridge Wells on Thursday and Friday.

The shows will be broadcast live on BBC1 at 11.30am. Viewers are invited to take part and vote for the antiques they think will make the teams most money by phoning 09001 800 300 or voting online at www.bbc.co.uk/antiques
