Body found on the tracks between Paddock Wood and Tonbridge

A body of a man has been found on a railway line between Paddock Wood and Tonbridge.

The discovery was made early this morning.

British Transport Police, Kent Police and ambulance crews were called to the track near to Postern Lane just after 7am.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the incident which is being treated as unexplained.

Trains in the area were delayed as the investigation got under way.
