Cars swerve to avoid obstruction - a man in a deckchair!

Drivers were forced to take evasive action to avoid hitting a man sat in the middle of a Kent road in a deckchair.

Police were called to the scene in Sturry Road, Canterbury, at around 3.20pm Wednesday.

A police spokesman said a patrol quickly arrived and a family member was contacted.

The man was taken back to his home in London.
