Concern for missing woman

POLICE are anxious to trace a 52-year-old woman with mental health problems who has been missing from her home near Canterbury since Friday.

Frances Lawrence was last seen leaving her home in Summerhill, Harbledown, at about 4pm that day. She is about 5ft 9ins with a fair complexion and grey/brown collar-length hair in a bob style.

She left wearing a green dress and beige mackintosh and carrying a bag, possibly containing clothing. Police say they are concerned because Miss Lawrence needs regular medication which she did not take and may become confused and vulnerable.

She has gone missing once before but on that occasion took her medication with her and returned after a couple of days. Anybody with information about her whereabouts should call police on 01227 762055.
