A MAN has been charged with driving without due care and attention following a fatal collision last year.

Alex Ludlow, 16, a pupil at Eltham College in Bromley, died after he was in collision with a Volkeswagon Golf at the Elmstead Lane junction with Walden Road on September 22, last year.

A post mortem gave the cause of death as a serious head injury. The car driver, David Chapple, of Mill Place, Chislehurst, is due to appear at Croydon Crown Court on Thursday, July 3.
