Ebbsfleet United have bolstered their ranks for the Blue Square Bet Premier relegation dogfight with a series of deadline day acquisitions.

Liam Daish has signed Dagenham & Redbridge striker Josh Scott on a month’s loan and brought in former Gillingham striker Stefan Payne until the end of the season after short spells at Sutton and Macclesfield.

Fleet have also agreed youth loan deals for Millwall frontman Tobi Alabi while Lions winger Dammy Shitta will join him at Stonebridge Road until the end of the season.

Centre back Jack Saville has also extended his loan deal from Barnet until the end of the season.

All four new arrivals will be in contention to make their Fleet debuts in the Blue Square Bet Premier televised home game against Macclesfield on Friday night.

Scott, 27, signed a two-year contract extension with the Essex club last March. and has scored 16 goals in 86 games, since moving from Hayes and Yeading - where he played with Fleet's Ram Marwa - in 2009.

Scott has made 12 appearances this season, but has found his chances limited, having been troubled by injuries in the last two years.

Scott will be with Liam Daish's side until March 2.
