Fans can tie the knot at Priestfield

FOOTBALL supporters can now get married at the Priestfield stadium, the home of Gillingham Football Club.

The club has been granted a licence, allowing them to hold weddings in the grounds. Wedding receptions have already been held at the Gills' home, and the club can now offer the complete package.

Barry Sims, superintendent registrar, has officially handed over the licence.

For more traditional romantics, the Commissioner's House in the Historic Dockyard at Chatham, has also been granted a licence to hold weddings.
