Four slightly hurt in M2 crash

FOUR people had a lucky escape after the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry and span out of control on the M2 motorway.

The four, who suffered only minor injuries, were taken to Medway Maritime Hospital after the collision between junctions three and four, the Chatham and Gillingham turn-offs, at about 5.30pm on Monday.

A spokesman for Medway Ambulance Station said: "The four, who were all from the Sittingbourne area, suffered minor cuts and bruises and were taken to hospital by land ambulance." The lorry driver was uninjured.
