Dartford have extended the loan of Gillingham defender Jack Evans for another month.

The 19-year-old (pictured) has already spent a month with Tony Burman’s squad but has been restricted to just two appearances.

His debut for the Darts came in a 5-0 defeat at Mansfield at the start of the month and then came off the bench late on in a 2-1 loss at Lincoln City.

But as Dartford face a busy schedule Burman needs as many bodies in his squad as possible.

Dartford are back in action on Saturday, with a trip to Southport, which is the first of nine league game during March.

Evans has been told by Gills boss Martin Allen that he is free to leave Priestfield permanently, having played 15 games for the League 2 side.

His only appearance for the Gills this season came as a substitute in the JP Trophy game against Crawley.
