Gillingham pair Bradley Dack and Callum Davies have both been awarded new three-year contracts.

The talented teenagers have impressed new Gills boss Martin Allen since his arrival at the club in July.

"I instigated the move by recommending we get them signed and sealed," said Allen. "They play in the spine of the team down the middle, are both great lads, work hard, and have got great ability.

"It was quite obvious in my first 10 days at the club, there was something special about the pair of them. They can get much better, but I like their attitude and the way they go about their business."

Eighteen-year old Dack, from Dartford, was a prolific scorer in the youth team and netted his first senior goal for the Gills against Crawley in the 3-2 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat on Tuesday night.

Davies (pictured), 19, who lives near Sittingbourne, was sent-off on his league debut against Crewe two years ago and started his first game since then in the 2-1 win at Dagenham last month.
