Good entry for Aldington point-to-point

THE West Street Tickham Hunt stages the penultimate meeting of the South East area point-to-point season at Aldington, near Ashford on Monday (2pm).

With a more favourable weather forecast owners are looking for more ease in the going and consequently there is a good entry.

Tom Hills the owner rider has won the Hunt race on six previous occasions and will be all out to make it seven when he partners Call Home in this year's race. Lively Lord and Chris Gordon just held off Oxendale at Penshurst to win the Confined by a short head and could well repeat that performance in the equivalent race here.

In the Ladies' Dragon Lord and Mr Miller look the pick with the latter just having the edge. For the Men's Open Real Value is the one to beat but Seod Rioga if at his best will give him plenty to do.

Entrance by car costs £15 and £20. Early arrival is recommended.
