Intruders steal dogs from house

A WOMAN returned to her home to find two of her dogs had been stolen.

The offenders got into the house in Lynden Way, Swanley, near Dartford, on Friday, between 9.15am and 11.15am, through an insecure back door.

One of the dogs was found in Swanley the next day and returned to its owner but the other dog is still missing.

It is a three-year-old American Staffordshire bull terrier, chocolate brown in colour with a white stripe down his forehead to his nose, and a white chest. The dog is called Mikka and has a scar to the stomach.

Police are appealing for anyone who knows the whereabouts of the dog, or who has any information about the break-in, to contact the police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Harvey on 01474 565220 quoting reference 20587 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 – calls to this number are free and will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
