PROPOSALS which could create nearly 200 jobs and more than 500 new homes are to go on public display.

The plans could see the site of the former Rugby Cement works in Halling, near Rochester, turned into a new community.

Current owner CEMEX is to unveil its latest proposals for the site to the public on Saturday.

They will be on view at the company offices on the A228.
