A 33-year-old man has appeared before a crown court judge accused of a sex attack on a woman at a multi-storey car park.

Stephen Gale, of no fixed home, is charged with rape and sexual assault at the car park in Vale Road, Tunbridge Wells, near the town's railway station, on February 1.

Judge David Mitchell, sitting at Maidstone Crown Court, adjourned the case until April 30.

Gale was remanded in custody to London’s Belmarsh Prison.
