Man shot in face after argument

A MAN was taken to hospital after being shot following an alleged argument with another man.

The 39-year-old victim was shot in the face in Jasmine Grove, Anerley, on Good Friday, at about 10.30pm.

He was taken to Lewisham Hospital and has since been discharged.

The suspect is described as a black man, about 6ft tall and of stocky build.

A police spokesman said: "We understand that he and the victim were involved in some sort of argument prior to the incident."
