Folkestone Invicta manager Neil Cugley has heaped more praise on the club’s leading scorer, Stuart King, by comparing him to Manchester United legend Eric Cantona.

King (pictured) scored a spectacular chip in the 4-1 win against Faversham last weekend, which, according to Cugley, was reminiscent of King Eric at his best.

He said: "It was unbelievable. He does it in training when, rather than a little chip over the keeper, he’ll loop it about 30 metres in the air.

"The only other player I’ve seen try something like that is Eric Cantona.

"He is a quality player."

Invicta will be out to exact some revenge on Ramsgate when the two clubs square up on Saturday.

Cugley admitted he was hurt by the 3-2 defeat to Ramsgate earlier this season which ended a nine-game unbeaten run for Invicta.

"It was a funny one, as we completely dominated the game but we lost," said Cugley.

"We will be looking to put the record straight this weekend."

Cugley has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s derby encounter.
