Hillreed is set to begin work on 11 new homes at Garnett Cottage, School Lane, Lower Halstow.

Building is expected to start on the development of four, three-bedroom semi-detached houses, six, four-bedroom detached homes and a three-bedroom detached house, in the spring.

"We are offering a choice of homes, with eight different house types, so there will be something for everyone," says Hillreed's Jo Richards.

"There is a shortage of homes in the South East as has been mentioned on the news many times in recent months.

"While this is not a large scale development, we feel that it does offer what people want; quality homes on select developments in areas with good communications, schooling, shopping and recreational facilities."

School Lane is in the centre of Lower Halstow and within a few minutes of the A2/A249.
