Popular schoolgirl dies at her home

COUNSELLING is being offered to students at a school in the county after one of their fellow pupils died at her home.

The 15-year-old girl, a student at the Hundred of Hoo School, died on Wednesday. She came from Hoo but has not yet been named.

School principal Anthony Williams informed the rest of the school about her death on Thursday morning.

He also released a statement which said: "She was a very hard-working, talented, humorous and very popular individual. We will all miss her very much and send our sincere condolences to all her family and friends.

"Within the school, students and staff are being offered counselling and the opportunity to support one another in a quiet area of the school."

Police said the girl's death is not being treated as suspicious.
