A28 Ashford Road, outside Tenterden reopens after collision

A road has reopened after a lorry jackknifed.

The A28 Ashford Road, High Halden, outside Tenterden was shut this morning.

Police were called at around 2.15am as the lorry was blocking the road.

Officers attended and the assisted with the recovery of the vehicle, and no serious injuries were reported.

A diversion was previously in place:

A28 Ashford Road, High Halden, through into Biddenden, through into Sutton Valance, through into Maidstone, through into Bearsted, then A20 back through to Ashford, leading into Bethersden and High Halde.
