RSPCA slam cruelty of abandoned 'Lily'

This Staffordshire bull terrier-cross was found abandoned and starving in Tintagel Gardens, Strood, last weekend.

The bitch, thought to be about two, has been given a temporary home by the RSPCA. She is believed to have had puppies in the past year.

'Lily’ was taken to the RSPCA Leybourne animal centre in West Malling.

RSPCA Inspector Sonya Gray said: “This poor dog was in a very poor condition."
