An 88th-minute winner denied Whitstable a point at Merstham in Ryman League Division 1 South on Tuesday night.

Whitstable came from behind three times but were undone by Jordan Cheadle's late goal.

A Jim Sherman own goal put Merstham ahead in the sixth minute but Ian Pulman equalised before half-time.

Harry Ottaway's brace, either side of a Steven Lloyd effort, put the hosts 3-2 ahead before Dan Wisker made it 3-3 on the hour.

Faversham ran out comfortable 3-0 winners at home to bottom side Corinthian Casuals.

Dave Botterill's sixth-minute goal was added to by Alex Waugh before half-time.

Anthony Hogg's 57th-minute goal was enough for Chatham to run out 1-0 winners at lowly Whyteleafe while Ramsgate continued their upturn in form with a 3-2 success at Horsham YMCA.
