Well, yes actually. The traditional traffic cop’s greeting was given an unusual spin when the German star of motorsport and former Ferrari driver was involved in an incident in Lydd.

Schumacher is believed to have been on his way to pick up a private jet at Lydd Airport on Sunday when the van he was driving hit a barrier being carried by Martin Kingham, of Millfield Motors.
