Gillingham striker Simeon Jackson believes few teams will be able to cope with them at Priestfield.

The Gills head into Saturday's FA Cup second tie against Burton as hot favourites after taking 20 points from a possible 27 at home in League 1.

Jackson, pictured, who has 12 goals already this season, says Gillingham’s forward line that also includes Andy Barcham and Febian Brandy will pose plenty of problems when they are on top form.

"I don’t think a lot of teams will come here and know how to contain that kind of tempo and pace," said Jackson.

"If we come out of the traps like we did on Tuesday, I don’t think Burton will know what has hit them.

"With our pace and the way we play, the tempo has to be right."

Jackson is enjoying playing alongside Brandy in the Gills attack.

The pair have started together twice and both times the Gills have cruised to victory, over Southend in the last round of the cup and against Yeovil on Tuesday.

Jackson said: "Febian is a really good player. He wants to get at people and run at defenders, that’s what you want in this league."

Jackson netted his fifth penalty of the season on Tuesday and feels that Brandy’s trickery up front is putting defenders in a spin.

Jackson said: "Fab has a low centre of gravity. Defenders are in fear of him getting a shot off and they do tend to foul him.

"It’s good to have that secret weapon in our locker."
