Teenager stabbed in street

A TEENAGER was sliced across the neck and hand in a stabbing in Magpie Hall Road, Chatham, at the weekend (Keely Spencer-King writes).

The 17-year-old was taken to Gillingham's Medway Maritime Hospital but the injuries were not said to be life threatening. The incident happened at about 8pm on Saturday.

Meanwhile, a man was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital after being hit over the head by what was though to have been a scaffold pole in an attack in Canal Road, Strood, at 7pm on Saturday.
